Where we are
COMPwize is a fully mobile service: there's no shopfront and no walk-in address. Deposit a repair at one of many COMPwize Lockers near you, or book pickup and delivery for $50 anywhere within 12km of Mount Druitt.
What happens after you send this
We call or text you back to confirm the details — usually the same day we are open. We will ask a couple of questions about the fault, tell you whether it sounds like something that can be fixed remotely without the machine going anywhere, and agree how you want to get it to us.
Then it comes to the bench. We diagnose it, work out what it needs, and contact you with the price of any parts before ordering a thing. Nothing gets ordered, replaced or charged without you saying yes first.
What it costs
Labour is $274 for any repair under the opening special, and the $88 diagnosis is part of that rather than an extra on top. Parts are quoted separately and approved by you. If you decide not to go ahead once you know what is wrong, you pay the $88 minimum charge and nothing more — and you still get told exactly what the fault is.
Most repairs are done within 72 hours. If a part has to be ordered we tell you the likely wait when we quote, not afterwards. New parts and systems carry a 12-month warranty, renewed PCs 90 days, and our repair workmanship 90 days.
Three ways to get it to us
Deposit it at a COMPwize Locker at no cost, with no booking and no appointment. Book pickup and delivery for $50, which covers both the collection and the return anywhere within 12km of Mount Druitt. Or, for software problems where nothing needs to leave the house, remote support at $179 per hour with a one hour minimum.
Before you send it
If there is anything on the machine you cannot afford to lose, say so in the message. It changes the order we do things in, and it is much easier to hear at the start than after the repair has begun. If a message appears on screen, a photo of it saves us both time.
