Buying a new computer through us
Tell us what the computer is for, how long you'd like it to last and what you want to spend. We'll suggest a couple of options that suit, explain the trade-offs in plain language, and tell you if something cheaper will do the job just as well.
Once you've chosen, we set it up before it reaches you: Windows or macOS updated, your email and accounts signed in, your files and photos moved across from the old machine, and the bloatware removed. Your old computer can be wiped properly so nothing personal is left on it.
Parts for repairs and upgrades
New computers and new parts come with a 12-month warranty, and renewed (refurbished) PCs come with a 90-day warranty. For repairs, parts are quoted and approved by you before anything is ordered. We match them to the exact model and part number rather than guessing from the model name, because one laptop model can ship with several different screens, batteries or boards.
If you're thinking about an upgrade, it's worth checking first what your computer can actually take. Many newer laptops and MacBooks have their memory and storage built into the board, so they can't be upgraded. We'll tell you before you spend anything. See SSD & RAM upgrades and custom PC builds.
