Business IT support
IT support for small businesses across Western Sydney since 1999, onsite or remote. You deal directly with the person doing the work.
Business IT services
Onsite IT support
Hands-on IT help at your premises, from someone who has been doing it in Western Sydney since 1999.
More →Remote support
Most business IT problems are software, and software does not need someone standing next to it.
More →Backup & disaster recovery
Almost every business we meet has a backup.
More →Network & security
Small businesses get attacked constantly, not because anyone singled them out, but because the attacks are automated and cheap to run at scale.
More →Websites & domains
A small business website has one job: make it easy for someone nearby to work out what you do and get in touch.
More →Office relocations
Moving an office is mostly logistics until the first morning in the new place, when it becomes an IT problem.
More →Managed IT plans
Managed IT is the arrangement where your computers are looked after every month rather than repaired after they break.
More →Microsoft 365
Microsoft 365 is where most small businesses now keep their email, files and meetings.
More →Essential Eight
The Essential Eight is the Australian Signals Directorate's list of eight mitigation strategies that block most of the attacks small businesses actually meet.
More →Servers and shared storage
Plenty of small businesses still run a server or a NAS in a cupboard, and plenty of them should.
More →Business email
Email on your own domain is the cheapest credibility a small business can buy, and the first thing to break when the DNS behind it is wrong.
More →New office IT setup
An empty office is easier to get right than an occupied one, as long as the work happens in the right order.
More →Business computer repairs
A broken machine in a business is not only a repair bill, it is somebody who cannot work.
More →Business Wi-Fi installation
Office Wi-Fi fails in ways a home never notices: thirty devices on one radio, a payment terminal that drops mid-sale, and staff who cannot work in half the building.
More →Business NBN installation
We are not an NBN provider and we do not sell plans or take commissions.
More →Business data cabling
Cabling is the part of an office network nobody sees and everybody depends on.
More →Video conferencing
Meeting rooms that work the moment someone walks in: a screen people can read, a camera that shows the whole table, and sound that carries both ways.
More →Printer & copier installation
A multifunction printer is a server with a paper tray.
More →How we work with small businesses
Most of our business customers have between two and twenty staff. They don't have an IT department of their own. They want someone who knows their setup, answers the phone, and fixes what's broken.
That's the service: onsite when it needs hands, remote when it doesn't, quoted per job or per visit. Because the workshop is local, hardware that can't be fixed at your desk comes back with us and returns repaired, instead of disappearing into a national repair centre for a fortnight.
We've been doing this in Western Sydney since 1999, and a large share of the work is still repeat business. That only happens if the advice is honest: if a machine isn't worth repairing, or the software you're being sold won't fix your problem, we'll say so.
Want your IT fully managed? That's Managed IT Helpdesk.
Some businesses would rather not call anyone when something breaks. They want their IT looked after on an ongoing monthly plan, with one team responsible for keeping it running. For that, COMPwize has a managed services (MSP) division: Managed IT Helpdesk.
Managed IT Helpdesk takes care of businesses that want managed IT: helpdesk support for your staff, ongoing maintenance, security and backups, all under a monthly agreement. COMPwize carries on handling one-off jobs, repairs and onsite visits, so whichever suits your business, it's the same local people behind it.
